| Message | the discussion in any way. Please stop. A. Again, the LS1 is a lighter engine (search)B. It's not as much trouble as you think (search)
 B. The VG has more setbacks than an LS1 for track use (Note - cyl's 5 & 6) (search)
 C. Sound is relative, and opinionated, but I think the LS1 is a good sounding engine. (search - youtube)
 D. "bottom line if you got he Pocket you can get the Horsepower and or torque" - Sure, but you will NEVER get the torque of an LS1, and I'd bet you spend more building a VG than an LS1. And, again the motor weighs more.
Note my opinions for the Z32 application are based around a track built car. I wouldn't go through the effort to do an LS1 swap in a daily driver, or even a weekend car. Granted, it could be more fun, but you don't need the types of gains an LS1 will give you for anything you should be doing on the street. And I never said the VG wasn't a solid engine.
